Our annual Lambic-style Cherry Sour, a unique High Country take on a traditional Belgian ‘Kriek’.
The 2023 vintage began its life in December 2022 when we filled oak barrels with whole cherries, freshly picked from a local orchard in Stanley. The barrels returned to the brewery that afternoon where they were filled with a golden base beer ahead of a 12-month secondary fermentation. The resulting beer has a vibrant cherry colour, aroma and flavour, with a refreshing natural acidity and cleansing sour finish.
