Mayday Hills - The Creek - Lambic Style Cherry Sour
This ultra-limited release is our unique High Country take on a traditional Belgian Lambic ‘Kriek’.
It began its life in December 2021, when we filled oak barrels with whole cherries in a Beechworth orchard.
The barrels returned to the brewery that afternoon, where they were filled with a golden base beer ahead of an 12-month secondary fermentation.
The resultant beer has a vibrant cherry colour, aroma and flavour and a cleansing sour finish.
This year, we present it in large-format 750ml bottles. Perfect for special occasions / the cellar!
