We’re thrilled to announce the return of High Country Hops Festival in 2019.
Now in it’s 5th year, This is the only festival of it’s kind in mainland Australia; A celebration of the Victorian Hop Harvest and the launch our Fresh Hop beers, this is an opportunity for Craft Beer lovers to taste the freshest beers imaginable, straight from the source!
Over 2 days (March 30/31), our brewery carpark in Beechworth comes to life, as the 7 Craft Brewers of the region pour their wares along with a selection of our favourite local winemakers and distillers. Rounded out by carefully curated local food offerings and an eclectic, suitably festive musical soundtrack, This truly is a weekend with something for everyone.
This year for the first time, we’ll be hosting some special guest breweries from further afield – A couple of our favourite Australian brewers will be joining us for the festival. First cab off the rank, Is Wildflower Brewing + Blending from Sydney, whose barrel aged blends are amongst the most artfully crafted and exciting beers coming out of the country at the minute.
We’ll also be offering a unique opportunity to experience Beechworth up close, with a glamping village being built in the centre of Beechworth’s historic precinct – Some ‘Hopped Up’ glamping packages will be announced next week!
Entry to the festival is free all weekend. However, festival-goers need to purchase a tasting pass in order to access the beer – These are limited and come in the form of a festival glass and a lanyard/pass which grants a tasting at each of the 11 participating breweries.
As always, this is a family friendly event, with plenty of free activities for the kids across the weekend.
