Now in its 4th year this exciting High Country event brings together like minded craft brewers and the local growers of that all important brewing ingredient, HOPS!
This family friendly festival is a celebration of Hops, but also features the & other High Country Brewery trail brewers. Local food producers, musicians including The Kissin’Cousins, (Sunday) and The Beez (Saturday) as well as loads activities for the kids.
This is a free event, however we will be running hourly guided tours, finishing with a tasting of 4 unique hop variety trial beers.

The Kissin’ Cousins play a combination of bluegrass and old-time music and hail from beautiful North-East Victoria, Australia. The line-up consists of Max “Cupcake” Hyland on 5 string Banjo, Izzy Paton on Vocals, Mandolin and Fiddle, Bec Humphreys on Fiddle and Vocals; and Troy “Papa” Humphreys on Guitar and Vocals. The band is reguarly joined by special guests Aron McClean on Double Bass and Josh Grundy on the volcanic mandolin.
The festival will be bringing together the eight brewers of the High Country Brewery trail, Bright Brewery, Black Dog Brewery Rutherglen Brewery,Social Bandit Brewing Co (Mansfield), Blizzard Brewing Company (Dinner Plain), King River Brewing, Sweetwater Brewing Company (Mt Beauty). The High Country Brewers all share strong links with each other and with our local hop growers.
